Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler <= 8.9.0 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Subscriber+) Delete Arbitrary B2S Post Records via 'postId' Parameter
medium ✓ patched
cvss score 5.4
cwe CWE-862: Missing Authorization
published May 12, 2026
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in all versions up to, and including, 8.9.0. This is due to a missing ownership verification in the B2S_Post_Tools::deleteUserPublishPost() and B2S_Post_Tools::deleteUserSchedPost() functions, neither function includes a blog_user_id constraint in its database query, allowing authenticated attackers to soft-delete any user's B2S post records by supplying arbitrary sequential wp_b2s_posts.id values via the 'postId' parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers to delete other users' published and scheduled social media post records, disrupting content publishing workflows.
Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler <= 8.8.3 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Insecure Direct Object Reference to Arbitrary Post Schedule Modification via 'b2s_id' Parameter
medium ✓ patched
cvss score 4.3
cwe CWE-639: Authorization Bypass Through User-Controlled Key
published Apr 7, 2026
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass through user-controlled key in all versions up to, and including, 8.8.3. This is due to the plugin's AJAX handlers failing to validate that the user-supplied 'b2s_id' parameter belongs to the current user before performing UPDATE and DELETE operations. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to modify, reschedule, or delete other users' scheduled social media posts.
Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler <= 8.8.2 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Subscriber+) Arbitrary Post Meta Deletion via 'b2s_reset_social_meta_tags' AJAX Action
medium ✓ patched
cvss score 4.3
cwe CWE-862: Missing Authorization
published Mar 25, 2026
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized data loss in all versions up to, and including, 8.8.2. This is due to the resetSocialMetaTags() function only verifying that the user has the 'read' capability and a valid b2s_security_nonce, both of which are available to Subscriber-level users, as the plugin grants 'blog2social_access' capability to all roles upon activation, allowing them to access the plugin's admin pages where the nonce is output. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete all _b2s_post_meta records from the wp_postmeta table, permanently removing all custom social media meta tags for every post on the site.
Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler <= 8.7.4 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Subscriber+) Arbitrary Post Modification
medium ✓ patched
cvss score 6.5
cwe CWE-862: Missing Authorization
published Feb 17, 2026
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the b2s_curation_draft AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 8.7.4. The curationDraft() function only verifies current_user_can('read') without checking whether the user has edit_post permission for the target post. Combined with the plugin granting UI access and nonce exposure to all roles, this makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the title and content of arbitrary posts and pages by supplying a target post ID via the 'b2s-draft-id' parameter.
Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler <= 8.7.2 - Incorrect Authorization to Authenticated (Subscriber+) Sensitive Information Exposure
medium ✓ patched
cvss score 4.3
cwe CWE-863: Incorrect Authorization
published Jan 9, 2026
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 8.7.2. This is due to a misconfigured authorization check on the 'getShipItemFullText' function which only verifies that a user has the 'read' capability (Subscriber-level) and a valid nonce, but fails to verify whether the user has permission to access the specific post being requested. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to extract data from password-protected, private, or draft posts.
Blog2Social <= 8.7.0 - Missing Authorization to Authenticated (Subscriber+) Arbitrary Post Trashing
medium ✓ patched
cvss score 5.4
cwe CWE-862: Missing Authorization
published Nov 24, 2025
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data due to a missing capability check on the 'deleteUserCcDraftPost' function in all versions up to, and including, 8.7.0. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to change the status of arbitrary posts to trash.
Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler <= 8.6.0 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Blind Server-Side Request Forgery via post_url
medium ✓ patched
cvss score 4.3
cwe CWE-918: Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF)
published Nov 5, 2025
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Server-Side Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 8.6.0 via the getFullContent() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to make web requests to arbitrary locations originating from the web application and can be used to query and modify information from internal services.
Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler <= 8.6.0 - Incorrect Authorization to Video File Upload
medium ✓ patched
cvss score 4.3
cwe CWE-862: Missing Authorization
published Nov 5, 2025
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to limited file upload due to an incorrect capability check on theuploadVideo() function in all versions up to, and including, 8.6.0. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to upload mp4 files to the 'wp-content/uploads/<YYYY>/<MM>/' directory.
Blog2Social <= 8.4.4 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) SQL Injection via `prgSortPostType` Parameter
medium ✓ patched
cvss score 6.5
cwe CWE-89: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection')
published Jun 16, 2025
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the ‘prgSortPostType’ parameter in all versions up to, and including, 8.4.4 due to insufficient escaping on the user supplied parameter and lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.
Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler <= 8.3.3 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting
medium ✓ patched
cvss score 6.4
cwe CWE-79: Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting')
published May 1, 2025
The Blog2Social: Social Media Auto Post & Scheduler plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 8.3.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
